Greg Thornton, the interim president of Moody Bible Institute shared with us at a recent Barnabas Group gathering. He has been with Moody for 40 years, and shared from a deep love for the institution that such a tenure would grow. His talk included a bit of history and a general update on the "institutional earthquake" that Moody Bible Institute has recently experienced. His perspective on leading through difficult times is one that any leader can appreciate.
"Spiritual leadership is not a calling we We don't decide to become leaders, we decide to respond, and keep responding to God's call and along the way, whether we like it or not, it involves us and leadership." -J. Oswald Sanders
Please be blessed by this recording of his talk and pass it along to leaders who you know might also be blessed by his insight.
Unfortunately, due to technical issues, the last few minutes contain only the audio recording, but the message is strong, so we wanted to go ahead and share this with you.
Here is a link to the book, Spiritual Leadership, that he recommended.
