The mission of The Barnabas Group Chicago is to connect marketplace leaders to ministries needing particular business discipline support. We do this so that marketplace leaders can use their God-given career expertise and market-place talents to grow ministry impact and ultimately Gospel impact.
The Barnabas Group Chicago is excited to host our second gathering with Pro-22. Pro-22 is a ministry of Park Community Church established for Christians in the marketplace looking to build connections and further God's influence through their unique professional callings. We are thrilled to come together for an evening with like-minded professionals for a time of fellowship, networking, and refreshments.
At this event we will hear from a dynamic speaker, Emily Harburg, co-founder and Director of Programs for Brave Initiatives, a nonprofit dedicated to helping women build skills in coding, design and leadership for social impact. Emily is also a doctoral student in the Technology and Social Behavior PhD program at Northwestern University where she builds and researches online tools to improve motivation, collaboration, and self-efficacy. Her work has been published in academic journals, Harvard Business School case studies, and news publications.
You will also have a chance to consider a ministry opportunity to serve a promising non-profit with your professional expertise and talents. Also, please do engage colleagues by inviting them to a casual, inspiring evening among friends!
